Select the country and the currency in a modal popup

We will provide you with a demo store for this extension so that you can test it to your heart's content with every available functionality. You also have full access to the administration so that you can try out all the options there too. A customer has already been created for the storefront. You can log in to the store directly with the pre-selected access data. The demo store is completely reset every night. Description

Do you sell your products abroad with different VAT rates? Do you offer multiple languages and currencies? Then this plugin is just right for you.

During the first visit to your store, your customer will see a modal popup. There he can select his language, his country and if necessary his desired currency. You can configure whether you want to offer language, country or currency at all - or only if you offer multiple options (e.g. multiple countries or multiple currencies).

After confirmation, the page is reloaded - with the selection of language, shipping country and currency. Thus, your customer sees the store not only directly in the desired language, but also directly its country-specific prices. Create trust with your customers and protect yourself from warnings.

The selected data is saved in the session. If the customer puts a product in the shopping cart, then the desired shipping country is selected there directly and the correct shipping costs are also displayed directly for this country. If the customer does not want a selection and, for example, simply click on the gray area next to the modal popup, then the popup is closed and the default settings in your store take effect. If you wish, you can also force a selection, so that the popup opens again every time a page is called up, as long as the customer does not make a selection.

Automatic preselection

If desired, language and country can be automatically detected based on the localization of the browser of the respective customer. If the preselection does not correspond to the standard of the store, then the customer is optionally additionally pointed out to the automatic preselection.

Cookie

The selection of country and currency can additionally be stored in the customer's cookies. With each new call of the store (without an active session) the last selection made is then automatically selected (without a modal popup).

Selection in header

In addition, the selection of the country can be displayed in the header (top-bar) of the store as a dropdown menu. Here the (not logged in) customer can change the shipping country at any time - even without the detour via the modal popup.
