Add search to your blog
Our plugin "Add search to your blog" allows you to add a helpful search function to your blog. This enables to search in the blog for keywords quickly and easily.
In the plug settings you can define which fields the search should search for keywords. You can search the article title, the short description or the article text. Alternatively, you can simply search through all three fields.
The search mask is displayed in the standard template at the top right in its own clearly arranged field. Simply enter your search term and click on the magnifying glass symbol to start the search. Then you will be shown the corresponding blog posts containing the search term on the blog overview page. If the blog post you are looking for is not included, you can enter a new search term and restart the search or delete the search by clicking on "Reset search".
The plugin "Add search to blog" features the following settings:
- Activation & deactivation of the search function in the blog
- Fields to be searched
- post title
- brief description
- post text
