eKomi is the leading third-party review service, specializing in the collection, management and publishing of seller and product ratings for businesses.

With our official eKomi Plugin for Shopware you can automatically integrate our eKomi review collection technology with your shop system, triggering a review request to be sent out the moment an order has reached a pre-defined status.

Das aktuelle Plugin funktioniert, danke für den Support.

Wir hatten Probleme mit der letzten Version. Zudem gab es nur selten ein Plugin-Update. Die aktuelle Version 2.1.0 läuft nun ohne Probleme. Wir würden uns freuen wenn ekomi auch zukünftige Plugin-Versionen zeitnah hier im Store hinterlegt. Danke für den Telefon-Support und die Anpassungen.

Installation manual


1. Module Installation (backend)

1.1 Login to Shopware backend

1.2 Go to Configuration → Plugin Manager.

1.3 Click on Upload Plugin

1.4 Select the module zip file and upload plugin

1.5 Click on Installed and locate the new module in the list

1.6 Click on the install button to install the Plugin

1.7 Provide required information to Activate the module

1.7.1 Insert your Shop ID and Shop Secret.

1.7.2 Choose Order Statuses on which you want to export information to eKomi.

1.7.3 Enable / Disable Product Reviews (if enabled, product data will also be exported).

1.7.4 Select Mode. (for SMS, mobile number format should be according to E164).

1.7.5Select Product Identifier (How do you identify the product?)

1.7.6Enter Exclude Products (Enter Product IDs/SKUs(comma separated) which should not be sent to eKomi)

1.7.7 Enter your Turnaround Time (Time it takes for an order to get complete)

1.7.8 Select Export Method.

Hook ( Will export data when order status is modified to one of the configured order statuses)

Cron  ( Will export orders with configured statuses every 24 hours )

1.7.9 Enable / Disable Show PRC Widget (If yes the widget will display in the detail page)

1.7.10 Enter PRC Widget Token (Token provided by eKomi)

1.7.11 Click on the Save button.

Note: Make sure that Shopware’s Cron plugin is enabled and Cron jobs are configured on the server.

1.8 Activate the Plugin

1.9 Display Widget

1. In the Configuration page, Show PRC Widget: yes

2. Insert this shortcode where you want to display the widget

2. Module Installation (via FTP)

2.1 Unzip (decompress) the module archive file

2.2 Place the Backend folder in {shopware root directory}/engine/Shopware/Plugins/ folder Using FTP/SFTP

2.3 Follow all steps of Method 1 except 1.3 and 1.4

How to set up cron in Shopware

There are two main tasks to setup Cron for Shopware.

Setup Cron the server to execute Shopware Cron.

Setup Cron inside Shopware (It should happen automatically)

A cron job setup inside Shopware will never execute if the Shopware cron has not been set up on the underlying server. This means that point 2 is dependent on point 1 to work.

Setup Cron On The Server

This depends on your hosting service provider. It’s more of a technical task. Below is the command that should be executed when you are inside Shopware’s root directory:

PHP bin/console sw:cron:run

The cron should execute after a short interval. The requirement can depend from situation to situation. Making the cron execute after 15 minutes intervals can be considered a good time interval.

Setup Cron Inside Shopware

When you install the eKomi plugin then the cron is created automatically. You can confirm this by navigating to the following location.

Click “Configuration” and then click “System info”.

Expand “System Menu”. Click “Cronjobs”. Here you should be able to see the cron job “Ekomi Order Export”. This is the cron job that is set automatically when you installed the plugin. If that cron is not present then you can create it.

To create the “Ekomi Order Export” cron click “Add entry”. Now fill the form with the following fields:

Name: Ekomi Order Export

Action: EkomiExport

Next Execution: According to your requirements.

Interval: 1 day

Active: Checked

Disable on Error: Checked

Click “Save” to save the cron.
