When someone subscribes to the newsletter in Shopware (or unsubscribes), this will immediately be synchronized with your Mailchimp list.
It doesn't matter where in Shopware the subscription/unsubscription takes place. It can be via the form in the footer, the checkout process, the newsletter page or the account settings of the user.
You define into which Mailchimp list the data will be imported. You do this in the plugin configuration. You can also choose to use Single-OptIn or Double-OptIn.
Installation manualAfter installing the plugin you need to insert your personal MailChimp API-Key into the field "Mailchimp API key" in the plugin configuration.

Double OptIn is the standard, but you can also specify to use SingleOptin. Please inform yourself about the legal situation in the country of your shop.
In the third field you insert the list ID. Into this list new subscribers will be inserted (or updated) and unsubscribers are removed from it. You find the List ID under "Settings"->"List name and defaults".
Only the version number was increased (internal fix).
No functional changes were made.
It's now possible to let Shopware send out the Newsletter registration email.
