Variants Filter Extension

Configuration manual

Requires the Variant Filter app from VIOSYS for Shopware versions below 5.4.

Basic Configuration

For configuration you have to create a

1. Free text field in the table "Configurator Option" (s_article_configurator_options_attributes).
2. Create a configuration for the configurator group to be grouped (e.g. color).
3. Configure for each configuration option (e.g. blue / yellow / ...) the values to which this group should be assigned.
   For example for the color options blue and navy blue, enter the same value in the free text field, this will group them to the entered value

The different filter types allow different representations of the grouped values.
Basically, all options that have the same value stored in the free text field are displayed grouped.

Filter types

Checkbox list

• When using the checkbox list, the values ​​are summarized and each grouped value has its own checkbox (tick field)

Radio button list

• the radio button list behaves in the same way as the checkbox list, the only difference is that only one selection is possible in radio button lists and thus no linking of the values ​​is possible

Pictures list

• With the image list, when using Shopware's own variant filter from Shopware version 5.4, the stored image of the first occurrence of the grouped values ​​is used for display
• grouping also takes place based on the common values ​​in the configured free text field

Color list

• In the color list, a color tile is displayed for each configured group
• the color of the tile is controlled by entering the same hex code for a color in the free text field
• For example: to combine the colors navy blue and blue, simply enter the hex code "# 0000FF" in the free text field
