Functionality
With this plugin, a customer login and a common shopping cart across multiple language and sub-shops is made possible when changing shops. This allows the customer to use shopping carts, notepads and address data across all their sub-shops and language shops easily and conveniently without the hassle of logging in and out. The session is retained when switching between the individual shops, thus enabling an undisturbed shopping experience that spans all shops.
In the plugin configuration, you can define which language and subshops you want to group and use the cross-session functionality or exclude shops from the session grouping.
Important:
- Cross-shop functionality is ONLY possible with the same main domain!
- For full functionality of the plugin all articles in each related sub - and/or language shop MUST be assigned to a category! This ensures that they are displayed correctly in the shop and can be found in the search in other shops! The assigned category can also be inactive or "hidden".
- Shop-spanning users must be activated in the shop settings for a correct shop-spanning login / logout!
- The functionality of the cross-shop login / logout is only available when using the Standard Shpoware Session Handler (DB). The transfer of the shopping cart works independently of the Session Handler.
