Speed optimization of the online shop is therefore mandatory - but a costly and complicated matter.
One of the most important points is the fast delivery of static content, e.g. images. The plugin "SEO Image-Accelerator - load time optimization for images" delivers images over several subdomains, which allows a parallel download and can significantly reduce the total load time of the images. The domain of all product images is automatically replaced by several subdomains, whereby the number of subdomains can be defined by the user.
Optional extension: Delivery of images via the Biloba CDN
To further optimize the loading time of the shop and to reduce the load on your own server, the images can be delivered via the Biloba CDN. In doing so, the images are recompressed and optimized for use on the web.
