The search field for filters in the article listing plugin extends the Ajax filter in the article list view by a search field, which allows an advanced search within a specific category of your shop.
Another feature of the plugin is the special article number handling, which allows to limit the search field in the filter to article numbers. This is very useful for shops, such as those in the automotive industry or spare parts and accessories trade, where individual articles are often referenced by the article number and not the article name.
As it is not yet clear if the function of this plugin is needed in Shopware 6, the release period falls on December 2021. If you definitely need this plugin, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will release the plugin as soon as possible.
