Long loading times in the shop lead to impatient visitors and in the worst case to higher cancellation numbers on the page.
In order to prevent this, the shop cache can be warmed up automatically by cronjob with our free plugin "Automatically warm up cache".
All features in overview
- warm up cache automatically by cronjob
- simple configuration
- Execution interval freely configurable
Recommendation for the configuration of the plugin
Execution time of the cronjob
The cronjob for warming up the cache should always be executed immediately after the cache has been cleared so that the performance of the store is not compromised.
Therefore, this order is set automatically during installation.
In addition, we recommend to clear and warm up the cache at night, as the least amount of access is to the shop during this time.
Interval of the cronjob
Basically, the cache should only be cleared and warmed up in short intervals if there are frequent changes to articles or other shop content.
If this is not the case, the cache does not often have to be cleared.
We recommend to execute the cronjob once a day, which must be stored in Shopware with 86400 seconds.
