About the Extension

Define costs for multiple package shipping in the shipping types

Do you send orders partly in several parcels, packages or letters? If so, you would have to define an endless table of shipping costs in order to correctly enter the costs for several packages.

With this plugin you can define the maximum weight that can be packed into a package. If the weight of an order exceeds this threshold, the order will be split into two packages and shipping costs will be charged.

Example shipping costs table

• 0kg to 10kg: 5,- Euro
• 10kg to 20kg: 10,- Euro
• 20kg and more: 20,- Euro

Customer orders 81kg
pays 20,- Euro shipping costs

Example calculation with plugin

With this plugin you set a maximum weight of 30kg per package:
Customer orders 81kg
pays 60,- Euro shipping costs (3x 27kg á 20,- Euro)

Notes

• Please make sure that the shipping cost calculation of your shipping method is set to "Weight".
