About the Extension
Create returns / complaints / returns in the customer account
Offer your customers the possibility to create returns directly from their customer account. Customers can enter the number of items, a reason and optional comments. The reasons (FAG, article defective etc) can be adjusted in the plugin configuration. Furthermore, you can exclude returns in general for certain customer groups and limit the creation of returns in terms of time (e.g. 30 days after shipping).
When creating the return, an email can be sent to the shop operator. In addition, the status of the order will be changed automatically if desired - e.g. to "Return created". In addition, a .pdf document is generated directly, which can be viewed in the backend and downloaded by the customer directly.
The plugin provides four new order statuses ("Return created", "Return being processed", "Return declined" and "Return accepted") to support your return handling processes.
Your customers also have the option of creating and printing a DHL Returns Label directly.
SEO Url
You can specify an SEO Url that you can link directly (e.g. for guests). For example, the form for creating a return can be accessible at https://www.domain.de/ruecksendung. Please enter the desired SEO Url in the plugin configuration without (!) the domain - e.g. "return".
DHL Retouren Label
You can offer your customers that they can directly create and print a DHL Returns Label for their order.
You can enable / disable the creation of labels and can have all logs logged. Most of the time, a glance at the logs is enough to detect possible errors. The logs are located in the plugin folder in the subfolder "Logs". So starting from the root directory: /custom/plugins/DvsnReturn/Logs
DHL Retouren Label - Authorizations
To generate DHL Returns labels, you need access to the DHL Returns Portal. You must also have activated the "Web service access". If you have any questions regarding activation, please contact DHL Sales at 0201 / 437 160 00.
After activation you will receive an email from DHL with all access data. The email contains: the user name, the Portal ID and the delivery name. You will also receive a link with which you can set a password.
Instructions
- install and configure the plugin
- activate an automatic email and an automatic change of the order status on request
- define your desired reasons for returns
- link to the form for creating a return (e.g. for guests) at any point in your shop (e.g. category, shop page etc)
- the Url is either the technical name of the plugin (https://www.domain.de/DvsnReturn) or the defined SEO Url (https://www.domain.de/ruecksendung)
- registered customers can additionally always create returns directly from their customer account
- to create a DHL Returns Label, you need your access data to the DHL Returns portal. If you have any questions regarding the access data, please contact your DHL contact person
