Easy to install, setup, and phenomenal support! Great boost to any shopping platform!
Plugin provides great advantage and boost in shop browsing and search. Easy to install and use it!
The Shopware API plugin installation procedure is basically the same as for any other Shopware 5 plugin. It can be summed up in a few simple steps:
Installing the Plugin
- In the admin panel click on Configuration → Plugin Manager
- In the left side menu, click on Installed
- Use the Upload plugin button to add the plugin
- Plugin should be listed in the uninstalled plugins
- Then you will be promted to clear cache, click Yes
- Then click on Activate button
Configure the Plugin
- In Configuration tab configurate the plugin at least with the Findologic access credentials.
- Shopkey: Shopkey, provided by Findologic (can be found in the Findologic customer account in the menu item "Master data")
- Active: Activates/deactivates the plugin for an specific subshop
- Active for category pages: Activate/deactivate the Findologic navigation
- After you fill this form, click Save
- Finally, shop's cache must be cleared
- To finalize the configuration it is necessary to set up the export in the Findologic customer account
- The Export-URL should look like this: Shop_URL/findologic?shopkey=[SHOPKEY]&start=0&count=X
The plugin's search and export components are registered as services. If those do not meet your requirements, it isadvised to implement a basic plugin which extends/decorates the mentioned services.
See the official Shopware documentation for more information.
Important NoticeThis version includes a major refactoring in regards of how the response is sent to Findologic, and parsed back again. If the search logic has been overridden with the Findologic extension plugin, please contact our support or refer to UPGRADE-11.0.md. If you don't use the extension plugin you can update without any further changes.
- The export route (/findologic?shopkey=xxx) now allows an optional productId query parameter. When it is supplied you will get all product details as XML. In case the product cannot be exported, you will receive a JSON instead, containing all information on why that product cannot be exported.
- Internally the findologic-api library is now used, to send the requests and retrieve the response from the Findologic API.
- Fixed a bug that caused wrong cat_urls to be exported, when it contained multibyte characters.
- The shops's base URL was not taken into account for cat_urls. This has been fixed.
- Fixed a bug that caused filters not to work properly, when the filter name contained multi-byte characters.
- Fixed a bug that caused wrong prices in combination with customer groups. Affected were the Smart Suggest and the Direct Integration.
- Fixed a bug that caused clicking the staging mode button, when having multiple shops, to redirect to the wrong shop.
- An issue has been solved where incorrect parameters where sent when requesting filters from Findologic.
- Added a test mode button to the configuration. Clicking it will redirect you to the shop storefront with Findologic active.
- Fixed a bug that caused an error when a product had configured a cross-sell category from another parent category. E.g. English.
- The configuration "hideNoInStock" now also has an effect on product variants.
- Added custom headers for the export. The headers tell us the installed plugin version and Shopware version. Be aware that these headers won't be exposed, unless a valid shopkey is submitted.
- Fixed a bug that caused the configuration option for cross-selling categories not to work as expected, for Shopware versions < 5.4.6.
- The plugin icon has been updated.
- Selecting categories or vendors from the Smart Suggest will now show an appropriate query info message. E.g. "Search results for manufacturer xy (12 hits)"
- Using Shopware >= 5.3 will now show the configured unit for range slider filters. The unit can be configured in the customer account.
- A bug was fixed that caused an error message when the no-result page loaded.
- Some export methods were set to private access, which prevented them from use in export customizations. These methods are now protected.
- The service fin_search_unified_es.product_number_search was only loaded when using Shopware 5.2. It is now always loaded.
- Added a config field that allows setting of cross sell categories. Products that are directly assigned to any of these categories, won't be exported.
- Boolean fields are now exported with the proper translation (Yes/No) instead of 0/1.
- Fixed a bug that caused filters not to show when using "Live product and filter reloading".
- Fixed a bug that caused range-slider filters not to work properly.
- Fixed a bug that caused ordernumbers of inactive variants to be exported.
- Fixed a bug that caused Smart Suggest category/vendor clicks not to filter the results, if the clicked filter was inactive in the filter configuration.
- Fixed a bug that caused issues when using Elastic Search.

- Fixed a bug that caused vendor/brand filters to not be exported properly.

- Internal handling of filters was refactored.
- Warnings from the Shopware Store were fixed.
- Added support for Shopware 5.2.x.
- If the extension plugin is installed, please ensure that the search is still working properly. There were changes which may affect the extension. The service `FinSearchUnified.findologic_facet_gateway` was renamed to `fin_search_unified.findologic_facet_gateway` and the methods StaticHelper::getFindologicFacets and StaticHelper::createFindologicFacet were removed.
- Changing the plugin configuration and saving will now have an immediate affect, as the config cache is automatically cleared after saving it.
- In case the FINDOLOGIC service is not reachable, you now will get redirected to the Shopware search. Before this change the Shopware search was called manually internally.
- Assigning any empty values to a product will no longer cause the export to break.
- Restotered compaitbility with Shopware 5.3

- Fixed a bug which broke the export for unencoded product URLs.
