The main categories in the sidebar are hidden and the subcategories are displayed in the same style as the main categories. Does not affect the mobile view.

About the Extension
The plugin «Sidebar without main categories» makes it possible to customize the categories in the sidebar as follows:
The main categories in the sidebar aren’t displayed anymore and the sub categories are displayed as main categories. If there are no sub categories available, the sidebar isn’t displayed and the content takes the whole width.
The plugin doesn’t affect the mobile navigation in any way.
