About the Extension
Shopware's premium articles system enables you to add bonus items to your shopping cart as a free addition from certain order values. This works very well as a bonus for normal shop sales items - unfortunately, it is not developed and only not suitable for the use of non-shop items (i.e. articles that are actually not intended for sale) as a bonus. The problem is that the bonus items can be found unintentionally even with a hidden extra category and can also be ordered normally. This may also lead to legal problems (e.g. toy articles / textiles as bonuses - since a sale is possible, the relevant statutory provisions must also be complied with).
This is where our plugin "hide bonus articles" comes in handy. With this plugin, you can hide all premium items in the shop both in the search and in all listings, as well as in sliders and for definable customer groups in the shopping cart.
In the detailed view of premium articles, all prices and the purchase button (the complete front-end block) are also hidden, so that the premium articles can no longer be placed in the shopping cart as normal articles.
All functions of the Shopware reward article system are retained when using the plugin and are not influenced. The plugin is sub-shop capable and was developed and extensively tested by Shopware using the current standard template.
