About the Extension
Let the Canonical Link of a category point to another category or any URL. This is especially necessary, when a category is several times in the category tree or you offer the same category in another shop. This prevents your shop from being punished by Google and other search engines due to Duplicate Content.
Instructions
- Open a category in the Shopware-Backend as usual via "Items -> Categories".
- In the "Free text field" section the text fields "Canonical Link" and "Canonical Link (URL)" are available (after installing the plugin).
- Fill in desired field (see behavioural matrix in the plugin images).
- Save (delete cache if necessary) and your configured Canonical Link will be used.

Super kleines Modul. Das Plugin macht genau das, was es verspricht.
Canonical Links leicht zu pflegen und übersichtlich. Kann bei Anlage neuer Kategorien sofort eingepflegt werden.
Eine schöne Lösung für das Problem. Spart mir jetzt Entwicklerzeit/-kosten und Google freut es auch.
