About the Extension

Protect your shop after the official End-of-Life of Shopware 5 in July 2024.

With this plugin, you'll receive continuous security patches via the Shopware backend, closing vulnerabilities and safeguarding your shop from attacks.

Compatible with Shopware 5 versions 5.5, 5.6, 5.7

To receive security patches, it is necessary to subscribe to a contract at kunden.safefive.de. As soon as you have saved your license key in the plugin after concluding the contract, you will receive a new version of the plugin (1.1.x) via the update function of your plugin manager. Version 1.0.x does not contain the security fixes, only version 1.1.x does. We are very sorry about this extra mile you have to go, yet the licence system of the Shopware Store does not support it out of the box.

Moreover, the contract includes compatibility patches to ensure that your Shopware 5 shop also functions effectively on newer technologies like the current versions of PHP and MySQL. More information can be found at: www.safefive.de

Configuration Manual
Set up the safefive Security Plugin for Shopware 5.

Plugin Installation

Navigate to the backend of Shopware 5.
Click on "Configuration" and choose "Plugin Manager."
Navigate to "Installed" under Management and click "Upload plugin". This will prompt a window where you can specify the path to the plugin's zip file.
Upload the safefive plugin zip file and click on "Install."

Plugin Configuration

Once installed successfully, locate the safefive plugin in the list of installed plugins within the Plugin Manager.
Click on the safefive plugin to access its editing options.

Settings and Changelog

The safefive Security Plugin currently provides the following configuration options:

License Key: Please enter the license key for the safefive Security Plugin here. You can locate the license key in your safefive customer portal after purchasing your service contract.

Using the Release Candidate: Gain early access to patches and updates, allowing you to test and provide feedback, thus contributing to the improvement of the final version.

Furthermore, you can access the changelog of the safefive Security Plugin here to monitor any modifications and updates.

Activating the Plugin

To activate the safefive Security Plugin after configuration, simply toggle the switch in the plugin overview.

Cache Clear
