About the Extension

The coronavirus pandemic has had a tremendous impact on our society at large – in an effort to boost the economy, the German parliament has put together a stimulus package which temporarily reduces the German VAT rates from 19% to 16% (regular VAT) and from 7% to 5% (reduced VAT). This will come into effect on July 1st and extend until December 31st.

For your online shop, this decision means you must quickly make the necessary adjustments to comply with the reduced rates – and this is exactly where this plugin comes into play.

With this plugin you can change the tax rates for your online shop in just a few steps. The plugin wizard guides you through the individual steps so that your online shop is quickly and safely converted. You can decide for yourself whether you want to keep the gross price or adjust your net prices. You can also adjust the VAT reduction to suit your customer groups; you can also apply the VAT reduction to specific customer groups (e.g. you can control that the prices for your B2B business do not change).

The VAT reduction also means planning and organization within your online shop. This plugin offers you the option to schedule the activation of the new VAT. Within the plugin wizard, you can decide whether the changes should appear immediately in your online shop, or alternatively, you can set a date and time.

Das Plugin ignoriert die Pseudopreise bei der Neuberechnung und die MwSt Sätze des Custom Products Plugins (von Shopware) werden auch nicht geändert. Wenn man das nicht nutzt funzt gleich alles.
