Shopware 6: Plugin status
This plugin allows a legally compliant solution for sending reminder mails about canceled shopping baskets to your clients.
Legal background: in some countries you may receive an adhortatory letter if you did not receive your customers confirmation via a double opt in procedure, even if the customer has an active account in your shop. Read more on T3N.de.
This plugin fulfills precisely this requirement.
When you create a customer account, you are actively asked if you would like to be informed about broken carts. In addition an email is sent which you have to confirm.
You may adjust the intervall and time the reminder mails are sent under Settings>Cron. You also have the posibility to customize the eMail Templates.
The installation and configuration is done as usual via the Plugin Manager . After installing the plugin please empty the full Shopware cache and reload the backend
Important: In order for the automatic e-mails to be sent , the Shopware Cron plugin must be installed and configured on the server. You may define an interval for how often the reminder mail is sent under settings>Preferences>System.
You can adjust and customize the eMail templates vBASKETREMINDERCONFIRM and vBASKETREMINDERMAIL under settings->eMail templates.
