About the Extension
With this plugin you can extend the cross-selling feature of Shopware with new relations between your products. The plugin will create additional tabs in the backend product editor and allow you to assign products in those new relations, extending the standard Shopware cross-selling dimensions of "Accessories" and "Similar articles".
If you want to specify further product relations like part-list products, replacement products, matching products from another manufacturer or "spare parts for this product", then this plugin is right for you.
In the plugin configuration you can set whether the extended cross-selling should be activated or deactivated. In the backend product editor a new tab named "Extended Crossselling" is created which you can use to create more tabs and assign items to your new relation. Under the item "Cross-Selling Type" you can define the name and type of your new cross-selling tab as well as delete, edit, activate and deactivate it. When adding new cross-selling types, the name displayed in the frontend on the product detail page must be entered as well as a unique identifier that is used to reference the tab programmatically. You should now save your cross-selling configuration. In the second tab "Product assignment" you can now update the list "Type of assignment". The newly created cross-selling type should appear here. At this point you can select the type you want to assign articles to. The assignment works identically to the standard Shopware cross-selling tabs. Articles can be assigned to another or to each other. Afterwards the new tab has to be saved and will be displayed on the product detail page in the frontend before the standard Shopware cross-selling tabs.

Hint
After activting or deactivating of this plugin cache will be renewed and themes will be recompiled also. This might take time, up to 30s. Please wait until dialog pops up. After recompiling themes you should do a reload of shopware backend.
