Description of the plugin

With the plugin "More tabs for the article detail pages (own tabs, properties, downloads, and much more)" you can extend the article detail pages with additional tabs, including stand alone tabs for the properties, the links, the downloads, the accessories and the manufacturer of an article. You also have the option to fill your own tabs with your own content via a TINYMCE field and offering them to the article. All tabs can also be displayed in front of the rating tab and arranged in your position you desired. The up to 5 own tabs can be filled either via the shopware backend, through a CSV import or through the Rest-API.

Furthermore, it is also possible to fill the content of a tab, which should be the same for all articles (for example shipping information), with the option "No - but set the same content of the tab via a snippet for all article". In this case you can fill the tab via a snippet without having to deposit the same content for all articles and to handle all articles if changes are made.

The snippets would be:

You also have the option to set the name of the first to the fifth tab for each article (in the fields "tab 1 headline" to "tab headline 5") individually, if desired.

• headlines (h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 and h6) via the optionally activated advanced editor ("Configuration" -> "User administration" -> select a user -> check "extended editor") in the TinyMCE field and the selection field " Format"
• YouTube videos via the tag [youtube]id_of_youtube_video[/youtube]
• PDF datasheets (*1) via the listed tags in the area notes to the plugin (*2)

The following YouTube parameters are globally available within the plugin configuration for all YouTube videos in the tabs:

• Hide the controls of the video (controls)
• Hide the video recommendations (rel)
• Hide the information (info)
• Hide the branding (branding)

Informations about the plugin

(1). Developed according to the new plugin system from shopware 5.2.

(2). Compatible with PHP 7.

(3). Test for 30 days without obligation: with the trial version you can use the plugin for 30 days free of charge and in full directly in your shop.

(4). Compatible themes: This plugin is compatible with the Responsive theme from shopware and themes derived from it. When using a third party theme, which was purchased through the shopware store, the proper use of the plugin can not be guaranteed as with any other shopware plugin.

(5). Subshop capability: the plugin supports subshops and can be activated per subshop.

(6). Unencrypted: the plugin is provided completely open source, so you do not need the license manager from shopware and it can therefore be used without problems without the iOnCube Loader.

(7). Multilingualism: the individual texts can be customized within the snippets module according to your own wishes.

(8). Own shopware blocks: the plugin provides its own shopware blocks to supplement the list of properties, links and downloads with own properties, links or downloads, for example via article - free text fields. Likewise, the plugin provides its own Shopware blocks to fill the other tabs with their own content, for example, via article free text fields or to supplement the existing content. (9). Considering the up to 5 additional tabs at the shopware search: in order to take into account the up to 5 additional tabs for the Shopware search, you must go to "Configuration" -> "Basic Settings" -> "Frontend" - > "Search" -> tab "Relevance/fields" and, for example, add a new entry for tab 1 in the named view and fill "Tab1" for "Name" and "100" for "Relevance", enter the value "digi1_tab1" for "Table field "and select the value "s_articles_attributes" for the Table.

(10). Filling the own tabs via the CSV import: to fill the own tabs, for example via the Import / Export Advanced module from shopware, there is a detailed description in the instruction for the plugin.

(11). Other tabs from other plugins: due to the large number of plugins in the shopware store, which provide more tabs for your purposes, it may happen that either the tabs of our plugin or the other plugin are not displayed because of the shopware inheritance in the customization of the same shopware block can be delivered by several plugins at the end only one customization. If this is the case, you can let us know via mail and we will look at it individually. With the help of the own shopware blocks from point 9 an update safe adjustment is usually possible, in order to make the plugins compatible in such a case.

Notes to the plugin

(*1): It can happen, if a device or the browser does not have the plugin "Adobe Reader" so that the PDF data sheet can not be displayed in the tabs. In this case, a link to the PDF is displayed using the appropriate tags.
