About the Extension

Make it easy for your customers to log onto the Shopware shop with the help of the Facebook log-in!

More and more Web services are making it easier for their users to log in by setting the simple log-in via "Facebook Connect" or "Sign in with Twitter".

Give your customers the option to sign in via a Facebook account with the help of the "SocialLogin" (Twitter is in preparation) to your shop easily and conveniently with just one click.

Procedure for new customers:

If the customer is not yet registered in your shop, he or she will be forwarded to the shop log-in page after successfully logging in to Facebook. Once there, the customer will be required to register once in order to retrieve the master data needed.

Procedure for existing customers:

Visitors who are already a customer in your shop, as long as the Facebook cookie is still valid and/or Facebook page is open, are automatically logged into the shop. If the cookie is not available, the customer can sign in to the shop through the Facebook log-in. A new registration is not needed.

Technical requirements:

To operate the plug-in, a Facebook account is required along with a "Facebook app" that can be created in three simple steps. See Installation Instructions. We will be more than happy to assist you with the set-up.

Plugin nicht kompatibel mit 5.7.17 obwohl es als kompatibel markiert ist

Wir hatten das Plugin lange im Einsatz und von SW 5.7.8 auf 5.7.17 aktualisiert. Es hatte bis dahin prima funktioniert. In SW 5.7.17 wird der Cookie, der für die Anmeldung notwendig ist, nicht mehr gesetzt. Nach einigem Hin und Her mit dem Support wurde uns erklärt, das Plugin wäre nur für die 5.7 kompatibel, obwohl es wie hier im Store offensichtlich bis zur Version 5.7.18 freigegeben ist. Laut Support soll auch kein Update mehr kommen.

Habe das Social Login von NetInventors erworben. Nach dem Kauf musste ich feststellen, dass die zusätzlich benötigten kostenlosen Plugins wie Facebook SDK und Google SDK gar nicht für Shopware Version 5.7 aufwärts kompatibel ist. Support war leider auch nicht hilfreich, obwohl ich mit anderen Plugins von NetInventors zufrieden bin.
Für eine Rückerstattung sollte ich mich an Shopware wenden. Mal schauen.

Dieser Plugin bietet keinen mehrzweck. Der Sinn einer Anmeldung über Google oder Facebook wäre das einsparen der Dateneingabe. Dies ist hier nicht gegeben. Trotzdem muss man seine Daten wie Anschrift eingeben und abspeichern. Lediglich der Benutzername mit Passwort entfällt diese wären aber z.B. über Chrome und abspeichern von Passwörtern ehe schon gegeben. Also absolut überflüssig und auch viel zu teuer. Viel zu Fehleranfällig und nicht immer lauffähig. Da regelmäßig Fehler auftauchen. Und ohne Support gibt es keine andere Möglichkeit es zu wieder löschen.

Wir wollten alle Plugins einsetzen, sprich FB und Google. Leider ist der Support kein Stück hilfsbereit und schliesst die Tickets einfach... Da soll man sich noch wundern! Kein Plugin gekauft oder eingebaut...

Endlich mal ein Standard aus dem eCommerce-Umfeld für Shopware umgesetzt! Perfekt umgesetzt. Schön wäre es noch, wenn die Buttons anpassbar wären, aber da hat wohl Facebook seine Finger drauf...
