Description
For online traders like you, a recommendation is worth its weight in gold. If existing customers recommend your shop to friends, you will enjoy a priceless confidence with these new customers. The result: the inhibition threshold for registering and ordering in your shop decreases measurably.
In order to make a recommendation more attractive to existing customers, premiums such as discounts, discounted or free products are popular incentives both for the recruiter and the advertised person. With the “Customers referral” plugin you can set up your own new customer acquisition program in your online shop – it’s secure, flexible and convenient.
As a shop operator you have the option right from the beginning to set up the reward system, by offering either bonuses for the referrer (and/or customer) with successful registration of a new customer, special discounts in items such as percentages or discounted value of goods or pure credit points, which are charged later with the bonus selection or order.
The reward system becomes a multiplier. Every customer who has bought at least once from the shop can (when registered) use a simple and very short form to recruit a new customer. In addition to the email address as a mandatory field, they can optionally enter the salutation, name of the advertised person and a short greeting text.
This email can be customised using the familiar Shopware email templates and contains a text, a message about his potential bonuses and the link to your shop.
Alternatively, the plugin offers the option of purely forwarding a recommendation link to the registration mask, which you can simply generate and send to the advertised person by email or even share on social media platforms and thus use as a “multiplier”. The invitation by link also has the advantage that you are on the safe side in terms of data protection as the customer you have referred does not receive any potential unwanted mail from your shop.
As soon as the referred customer has registered, validation is carried out automatically in order to guarantee that she or he is really a new customer. The email address is used to check that the referred customer has not yet placed any guest orders. The email address must be the same as the one the recruiter provided, except for invitations via the social media link.
If the referral has completed registration, placed items in their shopping basket and is now in the checkout process, they can select their bonus for the order before sending it. As soon as the referral has bought an item from your shop for the first time, the recruiter will receive an email informing them that they can now redeem their bonus or receive their points (depending on the configuration). If the existing customer receives an immediate bonus for the customer referral, it will automatically be displayed in the shopping as an independent item in the shopping basket
As a shop operator, you have the option of defining various qualification criteria. This includes, among other things, a minimum turnover by the recruiter, a minimum order value of the first new customer order or a qualification period.
For example, you can specify that a new customer order only generates points for the recruiter after 14 days, which allows you to eliminate the risk of returns.
The plugin provides you with your own menu in the backend, which lets you can leave behind bonuses for recruiters and referrals to choose from – from discounts to free products to discounted conditions for a specific product. You will also find a clearly arranged list of the friend referrals you have made. As soon as a customer completes the recruiter form, a new entry will appear in this list with the recruiter’s customer number, the referral’s email address (and later customer number), the time of advertising, registration and bonus redemption. If required, this list can be exported as a CSV file for further processing.
If you use discounts as premiums, you can set how high the discounts should be for recruiters and referrals and whether you want to grant a percentage or discount in euros. For the recruiter, you can also optionally determine whether they can “collect” their bonus discounts. For example, if a customer recruits three new customers and receives a 5% discount on their next order, they could either redeem 5% on three orders or receive an attractive 15% discount on one order.
If you decide for a credit point system, it is also possible to set in how high the exchange value of the points should be the plugin configuration, for example 1 point can have the value of 1 euro or less.
Optionally, it is also possible in the settings to use further blind copy recipients, for example your marketing or controlling department, for emails to referrals and recruiters.

Sehr umfangreiches Plugin
Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Qualifikationsmail den Mindestumsatz nicht berücksichtigt. So erhalten auch Kunden die Info, dass sie jetzt frei geschaltet sind, obwohl das einfach falsch ist. Die letzten Änderungen des Plugins hatten die Qualifikationsmail als Thema. Daher haben wir das aktuellste Update installiert. Leider ohne Erfolg. Haben das Problem gemeldet, aber neben dem vollen Zugriff auf das System war die Rede von 115 € pro Stunde. Haben jetzt die Qualifikationsmail abgeschaltet und hoffen darauf, dass das Problem an einem Testshop überprüft wird und das Problem für uns mit einem Update erledigt ist.
Edit: Sehr schnelle und kulante Reaktion des Support. Der Fehler wird jetzt behoben und im nächsten Update eingebaut. Dementsprechend habe ich meine Bewertung nach oben korrigiert. Vielen Dank.
P.S. Die 115 € wären nur angefallen, wenn nach einer kostenlosen Analyse aufgefallen wäre, dass der Fehler nicht am Plugin, sondern an uns liegt.

Funktioniert einwandfrei
Plug-In hat einige Fehler - Support antwortet auch nicht mehr
Auch wurden Kunden angeschrieben die vor über 1 Jahr bestellt haben. Support hatte bisher keine Lösung gehabt, eher lag das Problem am Server/Cronjob.
Auch ist die Freunde-Einladenseite unter "domain.de/recommendation" zu finden. Nicht sehr einladend, wenn man Flyer mit der domain drucken will.
Ich kann das Plug-in eigentlich keinem EMpfehlen. Da es kein anderes gibt, nutzte ich es aktuell noch.
