About the Extension
Purpose of the plugin
Different print views can be provided for the shopping cart, the order overview page and / or the order confirmation page. For this purpose, it is possible to define your own views of the printouts in the administration interface of the plugin. If a USER clicks on the PRINT BUTTON in the frontend, then a PDF is generated, this can then be printed or saved without any problems.
Create print views / customize predefined print views
Shopware Admin: Settings > Extensions > Print View > Print View (add print view or customize existing).
With the plugin we already provide 2 print views, these can be customized or new print views can be created.
- Standard cart & checkout (shopping cart and order summary page print template)
- Standard confirm (order confirmation print template)
The following configurations are available for the print views
Configuration section
- Internal name: used to distinguish the print views
- Active: active or not active
- Priority: the higher the number, the higher the priority. This is relevant because only one print view can be used at a time, the one with the highest priority is used.
- Rule: RuleBuilder rules can be assigned here. The print view will always be displayed if one of the specified rules matches (OR operation).
If no rule is selected, it will always be displayed. Examples would be narrowing down to a specific customer group.
(Please note that not all RuleBuilder rules that are technically possible can be used in this context).
- Display of the print view on the pages: Currently there are 3 areas where a print function can be displayed:
- Shopping Cart Overview, Order Confirmation, Order Completion.
