With the Customer Market extension you can extend your store with your own classifieds market. Your customers/users can create and upload their own ads. You can then freely place them in your store.

The Customer Market gets a polish in the storefront with our specially developed theme. It's best to use both together when you're starting out!

Important functions at a glance

Ad Types
As a store owner you can create your own ad types. The extension already has 4 ad types preconfigured for you:

➤ "Offer" - A general ad for an offer
➤ "Search" - Users can advertise search requests
➤ "Premium Offer" - Ad type with separate price plans
➤ "Premium Search" - "Search" ad type with separate price plans

Individual price plans
As a store owner, you certainly don't want to profit only from user-generated content and higher traffic numbers. Therefore, you can link the ad types with price plans to "highlight the ad". The user can then book these options per ad and receives, for example:

➤ "Boost Ad to Top Position" - This is how the user's ad is placed before all other ads
➤ "Boost Ad to Frontpage" - The ad is prominently displayed on the home page
➤ "Boost Ad to specific Slot" - You determine yourself where this slot is located in your store. Freely definable via the Shopping Experiences

Create ads
Users can set, manage and highlight their ads in the frontend account area of Shopware 6:

➤ Selection of ad type via appealing display/overview of price options
➤ Category assignment of the ad
➤ Image upload, ad name, description and address/contact data maintainable
➤ Place an ad as Commercial User. Thus the user can specify his imprint

Ad activation by Store Owner
As you know it from other ad markets, there are black sheep from time to time. That's why you can optionally check and approve/reject every ad before placing it. As soon as the user edits the ad afterwards, you can check it again. Alternatively, ads can always be released automatically.

➤ You can also intervene yourself and revise the ad
➤ Filters for swear words, external links etc. are also freely configurable
➤ Set a time interval when ads are automatically deleted (e.g. 90 days). So you have no subsequent maintenance effort
➤ You can determine whether Contact Data of the User are always visible, have to be purchased first or are only visible for logged in users.

There are no restrictions in the trial version. You have all configuration options in the test version. So you can easily set up your store within the trial period and purchase the paid license afterwards.

Can I do my own programming on the extension and maintain update compatibility at the same time?

In this case, we recommend that you create an add-on extension to override/expand certain areas. If you edit the source code of the extension in the core, everything will be reset at the next update of the extension. So the programming should preferably be done in the extension and should only overwrite the parts of the theme you want to change. Thus, everything remains update-compatible and your changes are safe.

For editing, developer experience with Shopware 6 is required. We help you, however, by providing you with a template. Just contact us at info@app-flix.de.
