About the Extension

Responsive Image / Banner

The Shopware CMS element enables images to be displayed on different devices such as desktop, smartphones and tablets. The images are automatically adjusted to the size of the screen and are therefore always clearly visible and easy to read.

This improves the user experience and ensures that the images look good on all devices. The responsive display also improves loading times, since the images are not loaded unnecessarily large. The plugin is easy to install and use and improves the image display in your Shopware shop.

It is also possible to set different images for different screen sizes to ensure that the best possible image is always displayed.

Where do I find the responsive image element in Shopping Experiences?

After installing and activating the plugin, select the responsive image block under Text-Image in your Shopping Experiences. You set the images and options in the element settings, which you open via the cog icon at the top right of the element.

Can I use different images for smartphone, tablet and desktop?

Yes. You add a separate image for desktop, tablet and mobile. The matching image is shown for each screen size, so mobile devices do not load unnecessarily large images.

Which display options are available?

You can choose between the display modes Standard, Cover and Stretched and set the vertical alignment to top, centre or bottom. You can also link the image and have the link open in a new tab.

Can I combine the image with text?

Yes. Elements in other blocks can be swapped, so you can, for example, combine a text with the responsive image element.
