About the Extension

The Google gtag.js (Global Site Tag) is a Javascript library to simplify event tracking on websites. With it, pageviews and conversions can be transferred to Google services - e.g. Google Analytics.

With the "Tracking with Google Gtag.js" app, important e-commerce metrics, such as the shopping cart including value, or which products are called up, are tracked. This means that the app can also be used to collect data for dynamic remarketing campaigns. The configuration is very simple: just enter the Google Analytics ID in the app configuration.

Universal Analytics

The following events are tracked in the store:

1. PageView events 2. viewItemList event 3. AddToCart events (incl. product, price) 4. removeFromCart events (incl. product, price) 5. purchase-events (incl. shopping cart) 6. beginCheckout events (incl. shopping cart) 7. checkoutStep events 8. search event

GA4

The following events are tracked in the store:

1st ViewItem event 2. viewItemList event 3. addToCart events (incl. product, price) 4. removeFromCart events (incl. product, price) 5. purchase-events (incl. shopping cart) 6. beginCheckout events (incl. shopping cart) 7. checkoutStep events, such as add_shipping_info and add_payment_info 8. search event

Strong in data protection

Data protection and DSGVO are an important topic, which especially affects tracking and marketing apps. With the Gtag.js app, the use of the service can be realized as DSGVO compliant as possible. The app supports the Cookie Consent Tools of Shopware 6, so that the user can decide whether Google cookies may be set or not. In addition, the app supports an optout link(see installation instructions) so that the user can opt out of the website's tracking.

IMPORTANT: Despite opt-in or opt-out function, Biloba IT assumes no liability for data protection violations. The respective data protection compliance must be the responsibility of each site operator.

Problemlose Integration

Sehr einfache Integration. Wir haben einige Plugins ausprobiert. Aber entweder waren diese zu kompliziert, da man den Google Tag Manager einrichten musste oder Sie haben mit unserem Theme und Consent Manager nicht zusammen funktioniert. Hier hat alles auf Anhieb funktioniert. Top!

Leider funktioniert bei dem Plugin Conversion Tracking (Google Ads) nicht. Test Event feuert nicht und Live Event feuert auch nicht. Alle Optionen probiert. Schade

Schade für diese Bewertung. Wir haben wirklich einen super Support und wir hätten das bestimmt gelöst, aber Sie hatten sich ja nicht einmal bei uns gemeldet und trotzdem 1 Stern für den Support gegeben, vielen Dank dafür ;) Ich vermute das ist ein Problem im Zusammenspiel mit Ihrem Theme, das kann vorkommen, aber dafür sind wir ja auch als Support da.
