About the Extension

Google Taxonomy / Shopping | Pro

The Shopware 6 feed for Google Shopping is already included in the standard and outputs almost all relevant data in the feed. Unfortunately only almost. One of the most important information for Google is missing. The information into which Google category your articles should be assigned. There is already a line for this in the feed, but you cannot change it individually. If you upload the feed without changes, your articles will be assigned in "Labels & Tag Signs". This is certainly the ideal category for very few.

With our Google taxonomy, you can easily assign all articles at the category level. You thus determine which article should be assigned to which category by Google. To make it easier for you to find a suitable category, you can search for a specific term. All Google categories that contain this term then appear above the input field. This guarantees you a simple and quick assignment.

You do not need any programming knowledge

You do not need any programming knowledge to integrate the Google categories into the Shopware product feed. You just have to replace the line in the feed with ours. Then your selected categories will be sent in the feed. As always, you will find a detailed description in our manual.

Select your language for the selection in the backend

Would you like to select the category in a language other than German? This is not a problem. In the plugin settings you can choose whether you prefer to select the categories in German or English. In retrospect, this setting has no effect on the feed. We provide the ID of the category path. This ID is the same in every language. You can change the language at any time. The categories already selected will then be shown in the newly selected language.
