PhoneVerify – SMS Authentication for Customers

Increase your shop’s security and protect against fake registrations with a simple yet powerful SMS verification process. PhoneVerify requires new customers to verify their phone number using a code sent via SMS during registration.

After submitting the registration form, a 6-digit verification code is sent to the provided mobile number. Only after successfully entering the code is the account activated — ensuring that only real users with verified numbers can register.

SMS delivery is handled via Twilio, one of the world’s leading providers of SMS communication. Integration is simple through the Twilio API: just enter your API credentials and sender number in the plugin settings, and your shop is ready for SMS verification.
