Wir haben zweimal zu unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkten mit unterschiedlichen Shopware Versionen versucht das Plugin in Gang zu bringen, aber es tut nicht was es soll und verspricht. Leider.
Der Support war schnell und freundlich, konnte das Problem aber auch nicht lösen.

Tut mir leid dies zu hören, aber wie im Ticket besprochen muss das Problem technischer Natur sein, Konfigurationsproblem des Servers. Die Erweiterung läuft unproblematisch bei vielen Kunden und bei uns auf dem Testserver und wurde intensiv von Shopware geprüft.

Can I use this plugin to track the URLs that trigger a 404 error?

No, this might become a feature of one of the upcoming versions. Therefore, currently use solutions like Google Analytics to find out such pages.

I already have an error 404 redirect configured in the .htaccess file on my web server, is this a problem?

Yes, we recommend either using our plugin or using an error 404 redirect in the .htaccess file, where our plugin is more user-friendly and can be quickly customised.

Can I change the status of the redirection, e.g. set it to status 301 or 302?

No, the URL, i.e. the page that was not found, automatically receives the status 302, this means "temporary redirection", the URL can therefore be found under a different URL, which could change again shortly. If you leave the status at 301 or 404, for example, you are of risk of losing the URL in the search engines. This is to be avoided with status 302, if a product is currently simply sold out.
