About the Extension

In this day and age of online trading, it is essential to always be one step ahead. Especially with new products and the desire of your potential customers for these products, you should integrate the possibility of pre-ordering in your shop. Your customers are reassured to be able to hold the product in their hands or be able to download it as soon as it is released. This creates trust in your brand or online store.

In the complete purchase process, your customers are shown the appropriate delivery period. If you wish, this can also include the time on the day of publication. Especially with download products, it may be necessary to allow pre-orders up to the release time.

You can make the settings so that they are applied globally to all products or only to individual ones. If you have decided on the global pre-order settings, you can also exclude individual products from them. If these have not yet been published, the "Details" button is available in product lists, which takes your potential customers to the product detail page, where the item cannot be pre-ordered or purchased either. You have full control.

Where can I change the long text label "This product will be released on" in product- or wishlists?

Please go to Settings-Shop-Snippets and find "general.deliveryShipping" or "wishlist.deliveryShipping". Click on one of these and change the label text for all languages you desire to change.

I am not shown any information about the time of publication of the product in the product lists, what could be the reason for this?

Please check that you have set the delivery period in the product concerned and that the field is not empty.

How can I set the delivery time window to match the release date?

Create a new delivery time type in the shop settings under delivery times. For example, name it "Pre-order", select "Day" as the unit and set Minimum to "0" and Maximum to "2" (for example). Now go to the relevant product and select "Pre-order" as the delivery time type and save. The correct delivery time window is now displayed in the shop.
