About the Extension

By default, Shopware 6 delivers the translations of the sort selection box on the product list pages and product search results pages purely in English or German. Translating by hand is usually only possible with effort and requires a lot of time. We at Codixio solve this problem with this easy to use plugin, you install and activate it and immediately have access to over 30 pre-configured languages for the sort selection box.

On top of that, you can customise the language snippets for each individual sales channel in all languages and for all standard sorting options. As a little treat, we've included the easy option to customise the background colour and text colour of the sort selection box if you want to draw attention to it, or simply customise the colour design.

Feel free to contact us if you need additional languages, with an update we can quickly incorporate them into the plugin. Please note that we cannot support custom sorting options. By default, "Name A-Z", "Name Z-A", "Price ascending", "Price descending", "Best results" and "Topseller" are supported.

I would like to remove the background or text colour from the plugin configuration again, how do I do that?

Go to the plugin configuration and delete the colour code from the respective fields, save, done. Also check whether you have not made manual adjustments in individual sales channels.

Certain languages should revert to the shop standard, e.g. English or German, how do I do that?

This is very simple, go to the plugin configuration, select the relevant sorting option and click on the small globe to adjust the language snippets, enter a space sign " " for the languages in question, and the shop standard will be used as the translation for this option and language.

Can I have custom search options translated with the plugin?

No, unfortunately this is not possible. Please use our plugin for the translations of the standard sort options and continue to adapt the translations of the custom search options by hand.
