This plugin extends your Shopware store with precise conversion tracking for returns, partial refunds and cancellations. The events are automatically transmitted to Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a realistic evaluation of your marketing campaigns and a correct ROI calculation.
Google Ads
Data is transmitted via an automatically generated CSV file, which is processed by Google Ads on a daily basis. Depending on the event, either
- the conversion value is reduced (e.g. for partial refunds)
- or the conversion is canceled (e.g. in the case of complete returns or order cancellations)
Google Analytics 4 GA4
Events are transmitted to GA4 on the server side via the Measurement Protocol. In the process:
- the turnover in the respective event is reduced,
- or the order event is completely canceled.
For corresponding events to be sent, orders in the Shopware backend must have one of the following statuses: - “Canceled” - “Returned” - “Partial return” - “Refunded” - “Partially refunded”
