Not a single consumer likes it when their desired product is out of stock. Therefore, giving them the opportunity to be notified as soon as the product is restocked, allows you to still convert them, and prevent them from possibly shopping at one of your competitors.

After restocking the product, your customers will be notified via the channel of their choice, resulting in them returning to your store to complete the purchase of their desired product!
