About the Extension

Description

Engage potential customers by offering them the option to receive email notifications about product changes – such as when items are back in stock, when prices drop, or when special offers are available.

Take the opportunity to win back seemingly lost customers – for example, when products were previously unavailable or too expensive. By sending targeted email notifications about availability or price changes, your customers stay informed and are more likely to purchase from you rather than your competitors. At the same time, you strengthen their loyalty to your shop and increase repeat visits.

Process

Your customers can register for notifications on individual products and variants. They will then automatically receive an email as soon as a currently out-of-stock product is back in stock, the price drops by a configurable threshold (e.g., 10%), or the product becomes available as a special offer, provided no pseudo-price is currently set. Upon request, an Opt-In email will be sent before the notification is sent, where the provided address must be confirmed. This confirmation is only required once per email address – further notifications for other products with the same address do not require re-verification. The product data is checked, and the emails are sent automatically by a scheduled task that runs regularly.

Display

You can choose whether the notification options are displayed as simple checkboxes or as individual graphic elements. This gives you full control over the appearance depending on the available space and the design of the product detail page.

Notifications

If certain notification options are not relevant for a product – such as "Back in Stock" for items that are already available or "Special Offer" for products already discounted – these can either be hidden or displayed as deactivated upon request. Additionally, individual notifications can be completely disabled either globally or per product (e.g., "Price Dropped") if you do not wish to offer that notification.

Coupon

The plugin includes a coupon feature that automatically adds an exclusive coupon to each notification, providing your customers with an additional purchase incentive. As soon as a notification is sent, your customers will receive a personalized coupon that encourages them to make a purchase. The individual coupon can be used for future purchases in the shop and is an effective way to strengthen customer loyalty and increase sales. The plugin automatically creates an example 5% coupon upon installation, which you can customize as needed.

Analytics

In the administration area, you have access to detailed analytics of all notifications. You can view all notifications, including relevant information for each case. In addition, clear representations of the Opt-In entries are available, allowing you to track which customers have given their consent. You will also have insights into the number of notifications set up per product or per customer, enabling you to analyze how your notification strategy is being used. These comprehensive analytics provide valuable insights to help you target your marketing efforts and product availability more effectively.

Email Archive

The plugin logs every sent email and provides a complete archive of all outgoing messages in the administration area. This allows you to access and review all sent notifications at any time. The archive not only helps track the emails that have been sent, but also provides a valuable foundation for analyzing and optimizing texts and designs to continually improve the effectiveness of your notifications.

Statistics

The plugin also offers a wide range of detailed statistics, such as a complete overview of all relevant data, including the number of notifications, sent and unsent notifications, click rates, conversion rates, and much more. This allows you to keep track of performance and key metrics. Additionally, you will receive an overview of top products and top customers, enabling you to specifically optimize products or directly reach out to customers to further improve the efficiency of your notification strategy.
