You also have full access to the access to the administration so that you can try out all the options there too. For the storefront a customer has already been created. You can log in to the store directly with the pre-selected access data. The demo store is completely reset every night. Description
Create your own configurations for sets and bundles with this plugin. Your customer can then configure these sets and bundles himself and create suitable Select compositions.
You can group individual articles and select the customer from these groups select one or more articles. Each group can choose a mandatory Articles include. If this group has a mandatory field, then at least an article must be selected - otherwise the configuration cannot be can be put into the shopping cart.
You have several possibilities to decide the appearance of the group - you have the choice between a simple list or a slider. For simplification and for a better look you can use a graphical Show check mark when an item is selected.
Position
You can select the configurator in the "buy-box" on the right side of the screen. (between price and shopping cart button) or below the article pictures in full width display. Please note that in the right column have only little space and the configurator in this look is kept rather slim should be.
Variants
The configurator supports the selection of variants. You can either explicitly select individual variants or display the main product selected. A click on the main product opens a modal window in which you can select the desired variant. All texts, prices, images etc. will be adjusted according to the actual selection.
Variants - selection
The selection of a specific variant for a variant product takes place in a modal window. Thereby you can define in the plugin description, whether all variants should be aggregated in a dropdown menu or whether a dropdown menu should be displayed per property (color, size, etc.). The selection per property corresponds to the Shopware standard on the the product detail page. Please note that with an aggregated selection maximum of 300 variants can be displayed in the dropdown menu.
Varianten - fan out
You can also "fan out" all variants, so that when you select a main product, all variants are always displayed. The selection of a variant in the modal window would be omitted in this case.
Prices
The price of the configuration is calculated live in the shop when selecting the items and updated. If desired, it can be determined whether the father article is also to be calculated or is free of charge - and whether a discount is granted on the total amount should be granted (e.g. 10%). In this way you give a further incentive to buy all Articles to be sold together in one configuration. All article prices are of course based on the stored price scales. Depending on how often the configuration is in the shopping cart or how many pieces of an article are part of the configuration, the "from-to" prices are used. You can also per group, you can choose whether the included articles should be free and whether the prices should be displayed in the configurator at all.
Prices - Note
Please note, however, that you cannot use "fancy" pricing rules ("extended prices") for select individual components. For example, if you select prices from the current shopping cart dependent, then the price of the configurator can change as soon as this is in the shopping cart.
Relative prices
You can activate the option "relative prices" per group. This changes the display the prices of the individual articles, so that the absolute price of the article is no longer is displayed, but always the difference to the currently selected article. If you have not activated the option of multiple selection and have selected an article with 100,- EUR then all other prices in the group will be displayed relative to this selected item. (i.e. the difference) is displayed. That means: an article that costs 20,- EUR is displayed as "- 80,- EUR" - and an article that costs 150,- EUR will be displayed as "+ 50,- EUR
Quantity
You are free to choose the number of articles in a group. You can either create a Specify a fixed number of pieces that cannot be changed - or leave the customer free to do so select. Depending on the plugin configuration, the sales hook or the stock is taken into account.
Pre-selection
You can define which articles are to be preselected in which group. This way you can define several compilations in advance - e.g. a low-priced and a high-priced composition. Your customers can then use this as a basis for further configuration. You can also choose which price should be displayed in the listing - either the most favourable price of all possible combinations (e.g. "from 35.99 EUR") or the price the preselection (e.g. "199.50 EUR").
Saving and loading
Your customer can save any configuration and load it at a later time. For example, he can send a configuration to friends or to the shop owner. You can also create individual configurations for your customers and send them via link.
Order process
In the plugin configuration you can choose how a configured article is to be displayed in the shopping cart should be listed. So the configured article can either stand alone in the shopping cart or below all individual components are listed. In addition, you can also choose in the second variant whether the unit prices of the components are to be displayed or not. During order completion the entire configuration is divided into the individual elements. You can access all lists, in all statistics etc. all articles are considered individually. The parent article has the value of the entire configuration and all selected Articles are deposited with 0,- EUR.
Creating configurators
A configuration is always created using a parent article (e.g. "My PC Configuration"). and any number of associated groups of articles (e.g. "CPU", "Graphics cards", "Accessories" etc) educated. The parent article is a standard shopware article that can be maintained in the administration The plugin has its own menu item that allows you to create configurations. Here you may define e.g. that a configuration consists of "CPU", "Graphics card", "Graphics card", "Graphics and "accessories". You then assign this configuration to the parent article in the additional fields. The actual articles, the defined groups, determine you via dynamic product groups. You can therefore use the complete flexibility of use these dynamic product groups (e.g. all green articles from 100,- EUR). Frequently used groups can appear in several configurations and can can be easily adapted or are automatically extended, if new articles are meet the desired criteria.
Instructions
- install the plugin
- in the administration under "Catalogues" you will find the new menu item "Configurator"
- create a new configurator (name is mandatory) and save it
- after reloading the configurator you can create "streams"
- click on the button "Create new stream"
- a new window will open, in which you can define the stream (= "group")
- you must select a dynamic product group (the articles in this group)
- optionally you can select pre-selected products
- save the configurator
- create a new Vater article in the products. This forms the "header" of the configuration
- in the additional fields in the tab "Configurator" please select the configurator and activate the option "Is configurator"
- if you now call up this article in the shop, you will see the configurator

Tolles Plugin uns schneller Support
gutes Plugin mit vielen Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten
Super schneller Support und gutes Konzept!
Nicht für alle Anwendungsfälle passen Variantenprodukte oder Shopware Custom Products.
Einen solchen Anwendungsfall hatten wir. Die Möglichkeit, Produkte innerhalb eines Hauptartikels als Konfigurationsoptionen in unterschiedlichen Gruppen zur Verfügung zu stellen, ist top. Dies bietet in unserem Anwendungsfall vor allem Vorteile bei konfigurierbaren Produkten im Zusammenspiel mit dem ERP System.
Herausragend und besonders erwähnenswert ist auch der Support.
Die Rückmeldungen sind hilfreich und vor allem blitzschnell.

Schade, das das Plugin nur bedingt B2B tauglich ist, da die erweiterten Preise nicht direkt unterstützt werden.
Super Konfigurator-Plugin mit zwei kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlägen
Es funktioniert wirklich gut in der Bedienung und haben wir für unseren Kunden im Einsatz.

Allerdings haben wir noch zwei konkrete Verbesserungsvorschläge. Daher noch zwei Sterne nach Luft nach oben ;)
1. Die Templates lassen sich nicht super gut ableiten. Hier würde ich mir mehr Block-Bausteine wünschen um davon besser ableiten zu können. Hier haben wir nun immer das komplette Template dupliziert.
2. Ausschlüsse funktionieren nicht so super wie in Shopware selbst (Variantenkonfiguration)
Alles in Allem aber Dinge, die sicher noch in der Zukunft kommen werden. Das Plugin funktioniert ja trotzdem super.
