About the Extension
With the Shopware 6 form validation plugin "Validity", you optimize data quality and user experience when filling out fields in the ordering process, during registration or when making an inquiry via the contact form.
We aim to help you deliver a strong customer experience
Strict validation of the email address ensures smooth interaction and communication with your customers.
The country-dependent phone number validation with auto-formatting offers your customers a localized preset of the country code as well as automatic formatting of the phone number entered. Unified formatting guarantees a homogeneous data structure in your contact data.
A soft validation of the street address field reminds your customers to add a house number to the street name entered . This minimizes unnecessary returns due to incorrect addresses.
The plugin provides user-friendly error messages for input fields, which are customizable in your Shopware 6 administration area.
If you do not want to use the plugin functionality for certain forms in your store, you can exclude them in the plugin configuration.
You find detailed instructions on how to create custom snippets and exclude specific forms in the installation guide.
In case you have questions regarding the plugin or want to report a problem, please file an official support ticket in your Shopware admin.

Good idea but a too global integration
But there some big problems with this plugin (also there could be more, we do not know all of them). So we have found two problems we wanna tell you here. Try to use this FormValidation Plugin with the Google Recaptcha V3 in a Firefox Browser. This will not work it always tell you the token is missing. We could fix this problem with a patch inside the FormValidation Plugin. But the next week we seen that Credit-Card Payments are not working when you use Stripe. So we tested local the Stripe Integration without the FormValidation Plugin and it was working like before. We decided to not install this plugin.
From a developer point of view I think the overwrite the plugin is doing are to heavy. You should test your plugin also with some important core plugins like Recaptcha and Stripe for example.
