About the Extension

What is Data Discovery Core used for?

Data Discovery Core is the gateway to Shopware Core. Once installed in Shopware, Data Discovery Core automatically integrates itself into relevant places in the Shopware store. The plugin acts as a link between Shopware and the respective search integration plugin, such as BatteryIncluded by elio. It intervenes in navigation, search and suggest, skillfully forwards queries to the search provider and prevents products from being determined via Shopware. The queries reach the search provider's API via Data Discovery Core, which then queries the data and returns it to the store via Data Discovery Core. Only then do the suggest, search and navigation become visible to the user.

By the way: You can also individually control whether the plugin intervenes in the listing, search or suggest.

Note: The plugin does not work without the corresponding plugin from a product discovery provider. The following plugins currently use Data Discovery Core:
