No more boring placeholders and loading animations

Where previously a loading spinner or grey box (in best case) indicated that the particular image is still loading, a beautiful teaser image can already give a first impression of the image when using Blurhash.

After all, even before the actual images are fetched by the browser, the shop visitors can enjoy the full splendour of your theme.


Don't forget customers with weak internet connections

Especially when traveling by train or highway, the internet connection of mobile devices can be weak. In these situations, your shop, with all its carefully selected key visuals and product images, can sometimes take a long time to open.

Not with Blurhash for Shopware: as soon as the first content of the page is visible, all images are also available as a kind of blurred representation of the original image (teaser)!


What is Blurhash?

In short, Blurhash takes an image and calculates a short string (only 20-30 characters) from it.

This string then represents the placeholder for this image and can therefore be efficiently delivered with the very first content of the page.

Based on this string, the browser of the shop visitor will calculate the teaser image again.
