About the Extension

With the Withdrawal Button plugin for Shopware, you fulfill all legal requirements for providing consumers with a clear and technically secure option to withdraw from a purchase.

The plugin integrates a clearly labeled "Withdraw Contract" button directly into the order overview within the customer account ("My Account > Orders"). The button is only visible if the statutory withdrawal period (e.g., 14 days from delivery) has not yet expired.

By clicking the button, the order is technically marked as "withdrawn." Before final execution, the customer is asked in a confirmation dialog whether they really want to proceed with the withdrawal. After successful confirmation, the customer automatically receives a withdrawal confirmation email.

All withdrawal actions are logged in the database, including customer details, order reference, date, and time. This ensures you remain legally compliant and have a reliable record for audits or legal verification.

What happens if you deactivate or uninstall the plugin?

If you deactivate the plugin, your settings and data will remain, but the plugin will no longer perform any actions. When uninstalling, all plugin data is removed. We recommend that you create a complete backup beforehand.
