About the Extension

For optimal presentation of your products on Google, clean schema data is essential. In the Shopware standard, the Google Search Console detects issues with the schema data of the products. The plugin fixes these issues and provides Google with complete schema data. The following fields are affected:

Field "hasMerchantReturnPolicy" is missing (in "offers")
Field "shippingDetails" is missing (in "offers")
Field "priceValidUntil" is missing (in "offers")

Instead, the plugin provides your product page with the following information:

Thanks to the plugin, Google Search Console will no longer display notices regarding missing rich snippet information.

In addition, starting with version 1.0.4, you can store data about your company (URL, logo, social media, price range, images) and thus increase your trust with Google through additional rich snippets.

Please make sure that your shop is connected to the GSC and you can already track your data there. If that is not the case, please set up the connection to the GSC first https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9008080?hl=en

After installing and activating the plugin, please follow these steps:

Enter your return deadline, return method and return feeds in "merchantReturnDays"
Enter your minimum and maximum processing time in handlingTime and transitTime
For the "priceValidUntil": No configuration is needed. The plugin always transmits the 01.01. of the next year as the date until which the price is valid.

The plugin draws all further information from basic information about the sales channel (standard delivery country, shipping costs, etc.).

The development is adapted to the requirements of GoogleSearchConsole (see https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/merchant-listing)

Once that is done, return to the GSC and click the button "validate fix" for each of those three issues (for further information take a look at the screenshots).

It will take some time for Google to verify the fix.

After a successful validation, the issue "Missing 'priceValidUntil'" in the product snippets will be gone.
