SEO Ultimate extends Shopware in the area of search engine optimization with many important settings and optimizations.
Important SEO Settings
Meta Data Bulk Generator
In the plugin configuration, under Generator Settings: Generator Block Size, you can define how many products are processed at once.
The default value is 100, but it can be increased on high-performance servers or stores with many products to speed up the bulk generator.
Generate titles, descriptions, and keywords for categories and products, and save templates for future use.
After installing the plugin, the options Ultimate Product Bulk and Ultimate Category Bulk appear under Marketing.
These provide access to the current bulk generators for categories and products. Within the bulk generator, you can enable everything you need. For example, if you only want to generate meta titles, simply enable that option. At the bottom, you can also define a template name to save and reuse your settings.
Options:
Generate for all subcategories: → If enabled, all related subcategories will also be included.
Overwrite existing entries: → If enabled, existing entries will be overwritten. To only set meta data where fields are empty, leave this option disabled.
Generate variants individually: → If enabled, data will not be inherited from the main product but taken from the variant instead.
Meta Data:
Here, you can create your own templates for generation. All possible variables can be added from the dropdown on the right. An example can be found in the screenshots above.
Once everything is configured as desired, simply click "Generate" at the top.
SERP Preview
- Preview how it will appear in Google search results
- Character Counter: Displays the allowed or recommended number of characters for meta data like title and description.
The maximum number of characters for title and description can be set in the plugin configuration.
Robot Tags:
- Robot tags can be defined for categories and products
- These can also be generated using the bulk generator
Rich Snippets:
- Rich Snippets: JSON LD format can be enabled in the plugin settings under Ultimate Conversion & Usability.
- Rich Snippets: Configuration of missing properties:
SKU (Article Number) → (Input field) | MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) → (Input field) | Item Condition → Dropdown field | Availability → Dropdown field | Price valid until → Date field
Conversion Optimization:
This can be found under Settings → Plugins → Ultimate Conversion & Usability.
FontAwesome requires a free KitCode. See the installation instructions for details.
- 404 Not Found error page with various layout and customization options
- Infobar (conversion header) at the top of the header – for key information using icons (Font Awesome) and text. Not all four icons need to be used. Empty fields will not be displayed. (Fully customizable)
- Prominent newsletter sign-up section at the top of the footer with custom text (Fully customizable)
- Info area at the bottom of the footer for social media links with matching icons (Fully customizable)
- Removes Shopware copyright from the footer (Can be enabled/disabled in the plugin configuration)
- Rich Snippets: Here, the JSON LD format for rich snippets can be activated

You can upload your own logos for payment and shipping providers, and they will automatically be displayed in the footer and other relevant areas.
