About the Extension

Additional fields in the article for e.g. the transfer of a date for a ring or the name on a chain or for other individual products.

The fields can be managed independently of the article and each field can be transferred to any article or even entire categories.

In the plugin configuration there is also the possibility to include subcategories.

In the plugin configuration there is now the option "Enable price for option fields". If this is activated, price markups can be defined for the individual options for checkboxes, radio buttons and dropdown options.

The fields can be managed under Catalogues->Article Configurator. Each field no be added to one or more articles or even to all articles of a category. Per field, the name(label), placeholder text, the order or position where the field appears in the article, the field type, as well as the assignment to articles and/or categories. In addition, there is still the possibility of a own rule as Regex(Validation regex) to deposit.

Example of a regex would be, for example, the German postal code which must consist of 5 digits: ^[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]$.

When assigning dependencies, it is necessary that your additional field and the dependency have the same configuration:

This means that if your field works by category assignment, the corresponding dependency must be configured with the same category assignment so that you can assign the field(s) to the dependency

Currently there are the following field types:

New: Dropdown (select choice)
New: Checkbox (multiple selection)
New: Radio button (single selection)
New: Media upload (uploading media)

The fields are also transferred to the shopping cart, so that the user at any point has the opportunity to view his input again.

Also in the back end, these can be viewed in the order. When generating the delivery bill, these are also transferred.

It is also possible to fill the article again with other data after transfer to the shopping cart and to transfer it to the shopping cart without overwriting the previous one. Each "article set" can then be managed individually in the shopping cart.

Wir haben getestet und probiert ... Wir schreiben das nciht nur so, wir meinen es auch wirklich so. Für uns der beste Konfigurator aus dem Store. Macht die wenigsten Probleme und es alles Bedacht, von der Übergabe an den Warenkorb und in den Dokumenten und Einsicht im Admin. Einfach Klasse!

Das Plugin ist super für Kundeneingaben zum Customizen von Produkten.

Configuration manual

The fields are managed in the left menu under Catalogs->Article Configurator.

In order to use price markups for options, this must be enabled in the plugin configuration.

To be able to use price surcharges for options, this must be activated in the plugin configuration.

In the configuration of the fields, it is possible to use a multiplier as an alternative to the price surcharge:

Multiplier (multiplies the stored value of the option by the sales price)
If, for example, the value 2 is stored for the option of a dropdown and the multiplier is stored, the main price is multiplied by 2 when this option is used.

Assignment of dependencies

The additional field and the dependency require the same configuration:

e.g. your text field is assigned by category, then the associated dependency must be configured with the same category assignment. Here it is important that the field is defined first and then the dependency. If configured correctly, the field "Assign attributes to checkbox ..." then appears in the dependency. All fields that match are then listed here.

E-Mail Template for Order Confirmation

NEW: Email template under Settings->Email Templates with the name Order Confirmation (Article Configurator).

This must be assigned in the flow builder, or the original order confirmation template must be edited.

The elements for this can be copied from the email template.
