About the Extension

With the Monitoring Suite for Shopware 6 it is possible to monitor installation thoroughly!

Be it collecting errors in Sentry, monitoring the store as a so-called whitebox in your Prometheus instance or using a T3Monitoring server.

Sentry

With Sentry it is possible to collect and centrally manage errors that occur in your store.

Here you get a lot of context to the bug which will make it much easier for your development team to fix it.

Prometheus

Prometheus actually comes from server monitoring.

With this Shopware plugin it is possible to monitor your Shopware installation as a so called WhiteBox.

This means that you not only get the information: "Shop is available" or "Shop is not available" but detailed information about the load etc..

All these data can be used to display messages in your monitoring system, if something should not be as desired.

T3Monitoring

The system "T3Monitoring" actually comes from the TYPO3 - agency environment. Herewith it is possible to monitor a TYPO3 installation.

What extensions are active, are updates pending, what PHP version is in use etc..

This plugin allows to integrate a Shopware instance into an existing T3Monitoring server.

Mention

This plugin uses the following composer dependencies with the according licenses:

php-http/curl-client: MIT License

promphp/prometheus_client_php: Apache License 2.0

sentry/sentry: BSD 3-Clause "New" or "Revised" License

To collect prometheus metrics, this plugin needs the PHP APCu extension. If the extension is not loaded, the plugin will automatically deactivate all metrics to prevent errors in your shop.

Sehr nützliche Erweiterung um Pro-Aktiv mitzubekommen, wenn mit dem Shop etwas nicht stimmt. Ein kleiner Feature Request wurde auch prompt umgesetzt (Business-Events an Sentry senden).

konnte backend nicht mehr erreichen

hab das plugin installiert und sentry aktivert, danach war frontend und backend nicht mehr zu erreichen. musste das plugin dann über ssh deaktiveren. dokumentation so gut wie nicht vorhanden. wieder deinstalliert

Hallo Albert,

tut mir leid, dass du keine guten Erfahrungen mit meinem Plugin gemacht hast.
Ich konnte den Fehler, in welchen du gelaufen bist allerdings nachstellen, ein entsprechendes Update mit einem Fix hierfür wird die nächsten Tage als Version 2.1.0 inkl. Backport zu den 1.x Versionen (Shopware 6.4) hier im Store veröffentlichst.
Zukünftig wird Sentry nur noch aktiviert, wenn sowohl die Konfiguration "Active" für Sentry aktiviert ist als auch ein Sentry DSN hinterlegt ist, da dieser zwingend benötigt wird.

Gerne kannst du dann nochmal testen, ob das Plugin mit diesem Bugfix Update im Laufe der Woche dann für dich funktioniert.
Wenn du ein Support-Ticket eröffnest, oder eine E-Mail an support@jop-software.de schreibst, kann ich dir das Update gerne auch im Voraus zukommen lassen.

Bei dem Punkt bzgl. Dokumentation muss ich dir aktuell recht geben, die Dokumentation ist nicht da wo sie sein sollte / müsste. Ich arbeite hier im Hintergrund bereits an einer sinnvollen Möglichkeit, sowohl dieses als auch andere Shopware Plugins etc. zu dokumentieren, um diese Dokumentation dann natürlich auch mit Inhalt zu versorgen ;)

Wenn du noch irgendwo Unterstützung benötigst, lass es mich gerne wissen :)
