Is there a limit to the amount of data I can export with the Connector?

There is no fixed limit to the amount of data you can export. However, performance may vary depending on the size of your shop and the amount of data to be exported. For large amounts of data, we recommend testing the export in a test environment first and observing the side effects on server performance.

How do I install and configure the Power BI Connector in my Shopware shop?

After purchasing and downloading the plugin from the Shopware Store, you can install it via the Shopware backend. Detailed configuration instructions are provided with the plugin and can be found on the store page.

Is the data export between Shopware and Power BI secure?

Yes, the connector ensures secure data transfer between Shopware and Power BI, so you don't have to worry about data integrity or security. A 36-character authentication key is used for this purpose, which is sent in the encrypted header of the request.

Does the Connector support data updates with Power BI Online for automatic retrieval?

Yes. The data is maintained exactly as in the local environment, and automatic retrieval of the data for Power BI Online or the mobile apps is possible without restriction.

Can I use the Connector in a multi-store setup?

Yes, the Power BI Connector supports multi-store setups and allows you to consolidate data from different shops into one central Power BI dashboard. The UUID of the sales channel is included in relevant places.

Can I filter or exclude certain data?

You can edit the tables in the query editor as usual before they are loaded into your evaluation. It is also possible to extract more data from the request into additional tables. We try to deliver as much data as possible to Power BI in order to achieve the greatest possible flexibility.
