About the Extension

This plugin is a simple yet effective tool that adds a configurable newsletter checkbox to the account registration, checkout registration, and checkout confirmation pages.

It works seamlessly for both guest users and registered accounts. You can choose to enable or disable the newsletter option specifically for guest users.

Double Opt-In:

If double opt-in is enabled (e.g. via email verification), users are added to the newsletter only after confirming their email address.
If double opt-in is disabled, users are subscribed immediately after registration.

Plugin Configuration Options:

Enable the newsletter checkbox to be checked by default.
Restrict access to the newsletter checkbox for guest users.
Hide the newsletter checkbox on the account registration page.
Hide the newsletter checkbox on the checkout registration page.
Hide the newsletter checkbox on the checkout confirmation page.

The newsletter label is defined via language snippets, making it easy to customize the checkbox text directly through the admin panel.
