Types of e-mail validation

This plugin ships with multiple types of validation. The plugin configuration allows you to enable or disable any validation type to your choice.


- RCF Validator

Standard RFC-like email validation


- DNS Validator

Will check if there are DNS records that signal that the server accepts emails. This does not mean that the email address always exists.


- MailHippo "MORE" email validation

Use the MailHippo API to validate e-mail addresses.

This is truly a must-have app. Previously, about 5% of our customers made typos in email addresses, causing order confirmations, package tracking emails, and other communications to not reach the customer. This not only led to suboptimal customer experience but also resulted in extra work for us: adjusting email addresses, contacting customers, and customers contacting us because they hadn't heard anything from us. In short, a correct email address is incredibly important. And this module ensures that, lightning-fast!

We use this module in conjunction with Email Hippo. The costs of this are more than offset on an annual basis. For just $285, I can have up to 60,000 email addresses checked in real-time during checkout and when creating a customer account.

Incorrect email address? The customer will then receive a clear notification, but the checkout or registration will not be blocked! Highly recommended, this great module!
