About the Extension

With this plugin you can display a banner to advertise your own iOS / Android app. The operating system used (iOS or Android) is recognized and the corresponding linked app is displayed accordingly.


This is how you can place a note for your app on your storefront. The user can hide the ad with one click.


Configuration of the plugin

iOS:

  1. Find out App ID: https://linkmaker.itunes.apple.com/de-de Select country, Media: Select "Apps", search for app
  2. For the app in the link (e.g. direct link: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8) look for the 9 digits, here 284882215 and enter them in the plugin configuration.

Affiliate data and app argument are optional and do not have to be entered. Android:

Fill in the fields in the plugin config (self-explanatory).


Smartbanner.js is used for the Android app banner.
