The Breadcrumb Plus Plugin for Shopware 6 is a useful tool for every online shop operator. It makes it possible to display the exact category through which a visitor came to a particular product as a breadcrumb. This is particularly useful if products are in several categories, as the path through which the visitor came to the product is always displayed in the breadcrumb.
If the product is called up directly, e.g. via a link or a search engine, the breadcrumb configured in the settings appears. This means that the visitors and the search engines also know where they are on the website in this case, and thus there are no disadvantages from the point of view of search engine optimisation (SEO).

The Shopware 6 Plugin Breadcrumb Plus explained with an example:
Imagine you are the owner of an online shop for shoes. Your products are listed in several categories, for example "Men's Shoes", "Women's Shoes" and "Children's Shoes". A customer is looking for a new pair of trainers for his children and lands on a product page about the category "children's shoes".
Without our Breadcrumb Plus Plugin, the breadcrumb of the default category of the product, e.g. "Men's Shoes" or "Women's Shoes", would always be displayed in this case, which could be confusing for the customer and would mean a bad user experience.
However, with our Breadcrumb Plus plugin, "Children's Shoes" is displayed as a breadcrumb so that the customer always knows that he is in the "Children's Shoes" category and how he got there. If he decides to look for another pair of shoes, he can go back to the "Children's Shoes" category via the breadcrumb navigation and continue his search without getting lost or spending unnecessary time trying to find his way again.
