About the Extension

With the app "SEO Meaningful Filter URL" you can create filter parameters as meaningful URLs. To do this, you can specify a URL pattern and select the desired filter parameters. In addition to the URL pattern, patterns for metadata and other SEO-relevant data can be specified.

The app then automatically generates a meaningful SEO filter URL which is also listed in the sitemap.

When calling up the meaningful SEO filter URL the corresponding filter values ​​are set automatically.

If filtering leads to a meaningful filter URL a redirection to the meaningful filter URL takes place or an attempt is made to load the data via Ajax call.

In the "Clothing" category you select the filter material with cotton and you get the following URL:

and you want to create a meaningful filter URL for this then one of the following meaningful filter URLs could be created:

  • https://test.shop.de/Clothing/Cotton
  • https://test.shop.de/Clothing/Material/Cotton
  • https://test.shop.de/Clothing/?material=cotton
