Description

About the Extension

The Shopware Migration Assistant establishes a connection between a data source (e.g. Shopware 5 shop) and Shopware 6 and guides you step by step through the migration process. You can migrate numerous datasets – e.g. products, manufacturers, customers, etc. – from your existing shop system to Shopware 6 and update them at any time. The assistant also makes it possible to connect two systems in order to make the transition as easy as possible. Once the connection has been established, it saves automatically so that it can be accessed at any time. After the first complete migration, individual datasets can also be migrated or updated as needed.

Before the migration takes place, the assistant performs a data check to determine missing or unassignable datasets. Within the scope of this check it may be necessary to create so-called “mapping”, which replaces any missing data with an assignment (e.g. missing manufacturer data automatically reverts to the default manufacturer) – this ensures you can quickly migrate without losing any data.


Info for Shopware 5 users:

In migrating your Shopware 5 shop, you can either perform the migration locally or use the “Migration Connector” plugin.

The Migration Connector provides API endpoints that allow Shopware 6 to establish a secure data connection with the active Shopware 5 shop. As long as you are using Shopware 6, you should leave the plugin enabled. This is the only way to update the data at any time.


Get started with the Migration Assistant:

  • Download the Shopware Migration Assistant from the Community Store
  • Activate the plugin in your Shopware 6 installation – this can be done in the Plugin Manager under “Purchases”. Alternatively, you can use the Plugin Manager to upload the plugin ZIP file.
  • The Migration Assistant will then guide you through the migration process.

Migration läuft nicht, schlägt aber auch nicht fehl.

Da die Migration nicht zu Ende läuft, aber auch nicht Fehlschlägt können die Fehlerhaften Migrationsdaten auch nicht gelöscht werden. Es läuft schon seit Tagen, aber es wird nichts weiter Importiert. Es wurden zwar alle Artikel angelegt, aber es konnte keine einzige Artikelvariante der Artikel angelegt werden. Bilder wurden ebenfalls keine Importiert.
Wenn ich herrausfinde wie ich die Bilder aus dem alten Shopsystem über csv importieren kann, werde ich versuchen den CSV Import zu nutzen. Ich hoffe das zumindestens Bestellugs und Kundendaten sich Fehlerfrei Migrieren lassen. Wobei ich nicht sicher bin ob sich der Aufwand für Shopware 6 wirklich lohnt.

Bilder werden nicht übertragen

Bei der Migration sowohl über die API als auch per lokaler Methode werden die Mehrheit der Bilder nicht ins Zielsystem geschrieben. Ordnerberechtigungen für public/media wurden geprüft. Es waren bei jedem Versuch bislang andere Bilder betroffen.

Nachtrag: 5.7.19 auf 6.5.8.9 auf selben Webspace klappt.

Übertragene Medien landen außerdem in einer anderen Ordnerstruktur. Das bestehende SEO Ranking für die Bilder ist damit leider hinfällig.

Datenbank-Migration funktioniert insoweit, dass Daten übertragen werden. Aber in SW6 kommen sie unvollständig oder falsch an. Bestände werden falsch übermittelt (aus 14 Stück wird 1 Stück, aber nicht bei allen Artikeln, sondern nur bei einem, bei einem anderen wird der Preis falsch übernommen...). Wenn ich alles hinterher manuell überprüfen und korrigieren muss, brauche ich keine Migration. SW6 gibt es nun so lange, aber Shopware schafft es nicht, zwischen zwei Systemen der eigenen Software eine Migration zu ermöglichen. Armselig.

Wir stellen immer wieder neue Fehler fest. Im Endeffekt haben wir im Nachhinein einen Mehraufwand gegenüber dem als hätten wir es manuell gemacht. Wir haben schon sehr viel manuell korrigiert. Ein großes Problem sit auch das bei uns die Preise falsch übertragen werden, sowie Staffelpreise garnicht übertragen werden.

verschwendet eure kostbare Lebenszeit nicht mit diesem schrott Plugin, funktioniert einfach nicht :(

Wird anscheinend nicht versucht das Problem in den Griff zu bekommen. Ich meine Nach der doch etwas längeren Zeit könnte man ja meinen es würde nun funktionieren.
